The Westcountry School of Myth and Story will soon be returning to Bonehill to start the ‘Wheel of Story’ rolling on Saturday April 10th. Award winning storyteller and mythologist Martin Shaw will be offering a rich feast of story, poetry and reflective, creative time outside on beautiful Dartmoor. Martin always has a wonderful way with words and he describes this first turn of the wheel as

THE VOYAGING HEART AND COURTED SOUL
As we are in Spring, Martin will be offering myths of love and beginnings, spirited poetry from Lorca, Rumi and the Troubadours, practical exercises in nature, and how we explore the seasonal pulses of our own lives.

I’m especially looking forward to the day as rumour has it that a telling of Tristan and Isolde is in the sweet spring air…one of my favourite stories. So if you haven’t yet booked your place by the fireside, then get in touch with Martin through his website at www.schoolofmyth.com
