It’s just a fortnight until the next of Martin Shaw’s ‘Wheel of Story’ Storytelling Workshops. This will be our final event at Living Spirit’s current venue at beautiful Bonehill House… so let’s make it a full house and one to remember!

Martin’s spring turn of the wheel of story took us all on a fascinating journey of the intricacies and mysteries of love through the story of Tristan and Isolde. Now the adventure continues, as we travel deeper into the dark, wild woods of story to discover the Lind Wurm. Here is Martin’s description of what he has planned for us, along with contact details etc…

Deposits for the next WHEEL OF STORY day workshop are now being taken (see below). We will be studying the gnarly old Northern English tale ‘The Lind Wurm’. What shadowy twin sister or brother was thrown out by the mid – wife the day we were born? At what stage in our our lives do we meet that dark sibling on the road bellowing ‘Eldest Marries First!!’- and lo, soul trouble begins. The ancients say we approach that shadow being with ritual, story and understanding, lest it devour all our best laid plans (plans that involve finding just what it is we want to quest for). So as we follow the movement into summer, and into the creative work of our lives, this workshop we will examine some of what the Jungians call ‘shadow material’, all wrapped up in this extraordinary story.
