As Wild Monastics our small, grass roots collective is at home anywhere wild, whether that be under a hedge, by a river or in the virtual world of online gathering… Yet for the last couple of years we have been very blessed to also have a home at a beautiful Chapel of Ease, St Barnabas Church, in Brooking in Dartington. Find us here.

This photo shows about half of our human ‘collaborators crew’ earlier this year (2026) at Brooking Church, which is open every Sunday between around 11am to 4pm or so… You are welcome to drop in and if you want to meet me (Sam) the best chance of finding me is around the beginning or ending of those times. Our lovely, wild churchyard is open all the time.

Most of the time, the only Wild Monastics onsite are our core members… the bats, birds, bugs, trees and plants etc and the beloved dead. There are also living humans occasionally… please check out our Wild Monastery Journal, Wild Church journal & fb community page for updates… or if you are local, check out the info on the church notice board.

See you soon!

And please sign the Visitor Book 🙂 Plus donations welcomed to help look after it all – thank you!
